Hy4heat Project

Pages of a report on sustainable Hydrogen fuel showcasing the graphhic design and infographics on offer by Rivelin Design.

I was employed by the University of Leeds and Clean Burner Systems Ltd to develop visual design for two papers about hydrogen gas appliances that were to be submitted as part of two Government bids. This was a process that involved rebuilding all associated company logos as scaleable vectors; digesting all the information and creating infographics to support the academic theory; and designing and formatting each page for both digital and print publication. The understanding was that if the projects were successful in their bid they would be made publicly available, so it was necessary to incorporate as many attractive and explanatory visuals as possible to allow the layman to better understand the information.

As someone passionate about environmental issues, it was a privilege to be involved in a project which represented an important step in energy renewables in the UK. The challenge of taking two 50 page documents of dense scientific theory and arranging the information in an inviting way was not inconsiderable. However, Iā€™m pleased to say that both papers successfully secured significant Government funding. This process gave me the opportunity to apply my creative skills to a wholly different sector. Needless to say, I would relish the opportunity to be involved with similar business tenders in the future.
